So fast forward to these past two days, I followed the instructions exactly and changed my gear ratio with Steeda's tune still on it and the shifting felt A LOT smoother. I did couple revisions with steeda and it got slightly better but something ALWAYS felt off about it until I found that thread I posted earlier. As I drove the vehicle it did feel like vehicle was trying to catch up to whatever gear the computer said it was on. I spoke with a Steeda rep on the phone a while back when I was trying to get this done and was informed that they can indeed calibrate the speedometer, however, the person who actually programmed my tune told me that it was not possible on their end. My tuner is Steeda they have been tuning my vehicle to "calibrate" my speedometer. Originally I was told a tuning device would be able to calibrate the speedometer for the S550s but that was 100% false. I went from 3.15 to 4.10 in my 2016 GT auto. UPDATE: I followed the methods in the As-Built Modification thread and it seems to have worked like a charm. It involves you manually changing it yourself, I have not tried it yet but I'm currently looking through that post myself for more information. There seems to be an initially complicated way of doing it yourself and at a much lower cost. I do not know about the nGauge tuner but I'm not going to waste another couple hundred dollars to find out. I have read the whipple flare tool does work but that costs over $200. The guy who provided my tune also told by email that they cannot calibrate speedometers but when I spoke to someone from Steeda on the phone that person said they can calibrate it. I bought the SCT X4 and got a tune from Steeda for my 2016 with 4.09:1 gears and the car does run well but it still feels like something is missing. Also the SCT X4 definitely won't do it and neither would a custom tune as I have read that tuners cannot change the BCM which is where the change needs to happen.
